What's up with this tub? Hyphal knots looking weird? Or am I just overthinking?

Sorry if pictures are not clear enough:

The hyphal knots don't appear like they're maturing properly. It seems as though they're just maturing into very small/skinny shrooms, as evident in the second pic. The tub itself doesn't seem to be fully colonized either despite being 2 weeks in.
Thoughts?

I currently have tubs around 12 days that look exactly like yours. A few already have 1-2 inch pins growing. Just be patient, 14 days for that kind of progress is pretty normal. I started seeing primordia (smallest observable pins, small white balls) around the 9 and 10 day mark, which again, I believe is very normal for a average tub. I'd say in about 3 days you'll have obvious mushrooms at a glance.
Also, give that tub a good mist, spray it til it's where you think it's good, then give it 3 more sprays. Maximize your FAE now, if it's a shoebox, go lid upside down for now on and keep an eye out on moisture

How can you tell it needs to be misted? Genuinely curious.

I can tell just from looking at the color of the coir in your picture and beside the color, I can't really see any "dew" on the surface of the substrate, neither on the mycelium or the coir.
I'm not assuming you're a noob, but after you've done a couple grows, and spent many months looking at successful grow logs on the forums, you just pick up on the color of properly hydrated coir.
Light brown needs misting Dark brown is good
Also remember in early stages of the growth cycle, 99% humidity is required at the surface for proper formation of primordia. If you can keep the top layer moist, then you're ensuring proper growth conditions are available. This isn't as important once the pinset has filled out.

Its starting to pin and your sub looks dry, id give it a little shot of water too. Not drowned it just a few sprays on the surface and you should have mushrooms soon.

Thanks guys!!
If you let a tub go dry for too long, can it stall beyond repair? Or can you revive it by just misting it? I have another tub that is definitely dry, but I tried misting it and it hasn't really changed much.

It’ll come back. Mushrooms are crazy resilient.
I just recently read about people cloning dried shrooms.

Even if the surface is dry you can assume the whole block of substrate is still holding a pretty good amount of water, the whole block probably wouldn't completely dry out until all the fruits have flushed, since the water in the substrate is what propagates the mushrooms to maturity.
So yeah, at that point you're still able to rehydrate the entire substrate by submerging it in water for 24 hours. That's how you get a 2nd, 3rd and so on flush from your tubs.
So, it's pretty unlikely and would be abnormal for a tub to just stall from being too dry. UNLESS you hydrated your coir far below the recommended 3-4 quarts of water for initial spawning.
but yeah, like ^ he said, mycelium is very resilient. Similar to how you can water a plant that is straight up dead, then magically 24 hours later it's alive and healthy
