3+ years unable to get out there. Finally had both hips replaced. I'm excited to hunt this year, especially with this weather that's been priming it. Good luck to everyone.

Been having absolutely no luck myself.
Am interested in these ovoids though! Have been trying to research habitat info but everything I pull up is someone else searching for habitat info lol. Where do I find the habitat bible?
Theres a nice river/creek area I have access to close by. Its a tributary of the chattahoochee if that matters to anyone. Do I just go get wet, dirty, and wild in the woods?

Hey for those of you guys that forage for cubes in metro Atlanta. what other non active mushrooms do you guys commonly find growing in manure as well. I found a load of pins coming out of some horse manure from a trail near my house and wondering what it could be. I feel they may be too small for an ID atm so I wasn't sure if I should start a new thread.

Lots and lots of deconica coprophila, panaeolus antillarum, and the occasional small stropharia growing throuought the fields.

Oh okay thanks! My guess would be deconica coprophila then. I just looked them up and they looked very similar to what I remember seeing.

Oh yeah that reminds me. A few days ago when I went to check my ovoid spot (at public park) I saw an older white woman with gardening gloves rummaging through the leaves right where I found a couple specimen last week. She had two of those recyclable grocery bags laid on the path. I didn't stick around to try and see what was in them but I couldn't for the life of me figure out what she could have possibly been doing. Any old white women lurking in this thread care to speak up?
