Chunks of fibers and other crap in my coco coir

I bought 4 bricks of coir. A single and a 3 pack, same brand. The single was nice and consistent. The first brick I used out of the 3 pack had a plastic strand of god knows what, and has clumps of fibers here and there that I found after mixing with the bucket tek. I kind of just ripped them out as best as I could, but man, what a crappy brick of coir. Anyone else have this problem with eco earth?

Occasionally, the plastic bits arnt that bad, most of the time you can get them with your hands. The biggest issue I have had with eco earth is some bricks have sand in them, they don't hold moisture as well.

I mixed with gloves on because I hate how it peels back my cuticle after mixing and also it's hot as hell, so I didn't notice any sand/grittiness if there was any. Overall everything looked like it normally does exist this one brick. The strand of plastic was like 6 inches long, not even sure it was plastic, more like a synthetic fiber or something. Weird. The second brick also didn't hydrate very nicely near the spots that had fiber clumps, hopefully it hydrates up over the 2-4 hour sit.

Use a spoon to mix it up. Break up the clumps an hour or two in.

Oh I man handled those clumps, they are completely broken up now. I just hope they hydrate properly and aren't cause for concern.
I'm going back to Zilla next time, if they still make them
