Well that’s also a trap, you can make healthy foods that taste good if you know how to cook well. This is a common false dichotomy

Taste is a matter of conditioning.
Take cigars as an example
to a tobacco addict (or as they might like to call themselves a cigar afficianado)
to them a 'fine' real havana is wonderful, where as just the smell may nauseate a non smoker.

When switching to a plant based diet from the SAD diet it takes awhile for the taste buds to adjust. After that no problem.

Both Joel Fuhrman, M.D. and Michael Greger, M.D. also on youtube talk about this in some of their videos and books.

Fasting before changing diets solves this apparent problem quickly and easily.

I read a book a couple months ago called Salt,Sugar, and Fat and it was all about how the processed foods industry won't reduce one without raising another to compensate and how nutritional labels on food are intentionally misleading. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in what's going on with food in modern day America.
