Not quite sure what's happening here

One or two days ago (depending on the tub) I harvested the last of my first flush. Was going to let them rest for a few days before watering them. This morning I wake up to a considerable number of new pins in all five tubs...
Also, you can't really see here, but lots of the stumps where I cut out the first flush are really fuzzy. I've tried to increase FAE lately. If it matters, these are from MS; they're cased. Apparently the second flush is early and it's kinda dry in there. My tubs are still reasonably heavy, though, there's moisture in there, so at this point how should I best hydrate them? Would a full dunk be too much? Should I mist the hell out of them and drain a couple hours later?

I'd mist them, but wouldn't go crazy, than wait for this flush to finish and hydrate after harvest right away. I'd be afraid to injure the pins.

Thanks man! Gonna do that right now. I was surprised to see those this morning but I guess that's a good surprise.

I'm starting to think my weakest skill is knowing what my surface conditions should look like. When I took this pic I was thinking it was really suffering, lol. Thanks!

There is good information on surface conditions if just using coco or coco/verm. Your's looks cased, what is it? Usually with peat casings I mist until it glistens a little bit and then wait until it looks dry to do it again.

It is cased..peat, vermiculite, gypsum, lime. I have one tub I didn't case and it's pinning right now (different spores, several other differences there). It's easier to tell. I'm also been noticing that the weight of the tub hasn't changed very much, even though it seems really dry.
