5g dry chitwan does it! 1

I've written about having a slow start on shrooms, so I've been a bit aggressive in exploring my limit, which for now is 5g cracker dry on an empty stomach. 6 hours later, just coming down. Got colorful, unusual visuals, and starting during daylight (3:30pm) helped ...melting jellyfish trees, etc. Def didn't want to run into neighbors/friends!
5g dry was borderline gag-worthy, and apple sauce and keeping hydrated def helps. (Thought my gag reflex was long gone! tmi? π€―π) Lower doses have never been a problem here.
Was 6 hours a bit long for either chitwan, or this particular dosage? Obviously blew the entire afternoon/pm--was counting on 3.5 hours, started drinking more water later to get done. Happy here!π The pic shows new chit brf just now, almost ready. Gonna try to make prints tomorrow evening. peace

4.5 is a pretty hefty dose. I hold onto my rocker when I consume that dose & put on some good tunes and try my best to bare with the dreadful comeup
On higher doses the comeup is not nearly as long as a smaller dose, but its deficiency better at triggering so much weirder feelings than a smaller dose lol.
Glad you had yourself a nice trip there. 6 hours seems long (to me) as my trips only last about 4 hours or so until I'm coming down. This is subjective and everyone is different. Sometimes your body digests trips quicker than other times.
4 hours is usually fine for me though. By then I do like to come down. It's the perfect length IMO. Then I ride the afterglow which is also absolutely beautiful.

Vibe_E-- what do you define as the Terrible Comeup? In my limited experience, lower dose trips lasted only 3.5 hours, then I'm presentable again. More or lessπππ. The visuals were cool, but after a few hours, the trip was like a guest who stays too long. I seem to have a little resistance to shrooms, which is why I pushed this. I'll be microdosing 2x/week after this for a while.

I find that the higher the dose then the longer the trip. I had a good one about 6 weeks ago where I tried trance music for the first time while on 3.8g dry cubensis; at 5.5 hours in I was still peaking really hard, so hard it took a further 30 minutes when my wife got back (normally more or,less done by 5 hours) of me consciousness;y trying to force the come down, before I could even open my eyes and talk lucidly (so I thought)to her.
A few weeks before that was a really crap one where I had 2 hours of very mild headspace but the rest of the night just bored, and couldnβt even read my iPad to come on here!
Dunno what to suggest, dude, but mushrooms will do what they want with you!

I guess it's not terrible. But I just get extreme waves of anxiety and weird thoughts. I can feel my thoughts almost electrify in the weirdest of ways. It's just like 20 minutes of me being uncomfortable. I then focus too hard on my breathing and I feel like I'm then breathing wrong.
Just weird stuff haha. But after that little episode - I always wonder what I was so scared of and always wonder why I didn't take more. Anything more than 4.5 just freaks me out but after I'm tripping it sounds very appealing to take more lol.

Thats why I always push tea.
Less come-up, better taste, and less nausea. Cant beat that.

Although, duration isn't usually what I'm going for. An easy and concise experience is much more favorable for me. That said, I do sometimes love the extended afterglow from high doses (of tea, of course).

This was the first serious trip where I ventured outdoors at all, very cautiously bc I didn't want to run into other people, and narrowly avoided a couple of them. I stood on the kitchen porch, and found that if I focused on the many leafless trees, that the light show was worth the trip, reminded me of van gogh at his craziest. I'll probably do a similar trip at some point, but not for a long time, and not tripping alone, especially if it's going to be a 6+ hour experience. I'd say it took close to 24 hours for all effects to be cleared out of my system, and I was gtg/drive in less than that.

Oh yeah I know. But after the comeup I like the waves of eating the fruits. The comeup sucks this way - but I really enjoy the different waves that tea doesn't seem to do to me. I LOVE them both. But I like playing around in different headspaces and one of the best ways to manipulate is to consume them via whole fruit and or a tea!
Right now I'm digging the eating them!

Can't argue that. You can only kind of emulate that experience by taking down your tea incrementally.
I wish I were as bold as I once was to rough out the stomach discomfort I get from whole fruits. I'm afraid I've gotten soft over the years...

I'm going to try 2.5 grams dry chitwan this afternoon. Hey, it's one of the few ways to take a trip, and not leave the apartment! I also want to gauge the potency of this strain at a lower dose. Y'know...goes with the microscopy, which is going swimmingly...πππ€£ππ
