What i'm getting at is this, as a proffession, how many actual deaths have been linked to mycology. Litterally growing or studying any species of mushroom... I was thinking, there are many ways an accident could happen in our hobby, but lets say we're presenting this to a life insurance agent assuming our business was legit and this was a persons primary profession. The over all death rate has to be extemely low like lowest amoungst a multitude of jobs. The highest risk I guess anyone could really take is driving somewhere in relation to the bussiness. It also made me think about lack of awareness about spore inhalation. And how it certainly could be mitigated. The mental health of a mushroom grower is likley upper echelon. I've seen contrarys on this site...but for the most part to kindle the life form of mycelium something has to be hanging on to onesself at the very least see what the next grow puts out. Just some random talk.

Bartenders work weird hours, which fucks with your health. Then it fucks with your love life because you need to find someone else who works shit hours. Your days off are never on weekends. So you hang out with dirtbags who do blow at 3 am on a weeknight. You have to be nice for tips which is almost prostitution. You have to deal with drunk people. I bet a lot of them kill themselves.

I like to watch this one channel, How To Drink. His name is Greg and he makes drink. He looks sad inside sometimes but I think it's the booze instead of wanting to kill himself

This is absolutely 100% correct! (maybe 99%, and the other 1% lie about it). I lived that life for at least 20 years. Sun, Mon, and Tues were the biggest party nights, but hell, any night of the week due to having cash on hand 24/7 365.
