Spores and Lysol
    #2652688 - 05/08/04 04:57 AM (19 years, 10 months ago)

Ok, so, hypothetically speaking, say one placed a spore print in a glove box and, forgetting it was in there temporarily, sprayed the box with lysol. In this hypothetical situation, are the spores now dead?

Ya,if the lysol came in contact with the spores, they are goners, even if a few survived you would probably have severe mutations and growth problems, lysol will kill them.Sorry. :frown:

Butternut squash are softer than acorn or other types of squash, which makes them easier to cut and prepare.

Then if you sterilize your tools with lysol how long should you wait till it disappears with the air?

I personally wouldnt steralize my tools with lysol,I either pressure cook them or use alchahol. So I couldnt tell you.As far as spraying the inside of the glovebox, that I do,but I give it about 1/2 hour for everything to settle.
