Cotton mold, cobweb, or healthy mycelium?

In a Getting Started thread, it was recommended that I toss my substrate due to Cotton mold. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26525269/vc/1#26525269
Looking at all the sticky threads in the Contamination forum, I think I just have mycelium. Wanted to get another opinion, before I throw them out.
To orient yourself, this is a 4" thick substrate taking up half of a 6.5 Liter tub. I mixed 1:1 inoculated rye grain with coir. Then I dressed the top 3/4 inch with coir

Horizontal surface has these fuzzy masses

And looking down the vertical face

Within 2 or 3 days, this fuzzy white stuff was exploding off of the 100% colonized grains.
Should I toss? Is it a form of mold, or just mycelium that wants more FAE?

I wouldn’t rush to pitch unless they smell bad or are definitely mold. Looks a lot like mycelium to me.........not any of the common nasties that I’ve seen.
