How do i effectively fruit a single cake?

I love that i'm getting more into mushroom cultivation and experiment with BRF cakes right now. I have about 15 Jars and 2 Mini Shobeboxes colonizing.
One of the jars (250ml) is way ahead of the pack and already fully colonized and showing some nice healthy pins in the jar; its ready!
I want to grow it out and wonder, what Tek you would advise for a single cake. Also di i birth it by soaking it for a day before (like the dunk and roll)? Perfect if it can be cheap and simple, although i got some Unmod-Tubs that i could prepare as a HC.
Fire at will.

Just open the top and put a plastic sandwich bag over it
Depending on how loose the bag is, you may want to cut some holes in it.

Yup. I have a single cake growing, i plan on using a gallon sized plastic baggie filled with wet perlite to fruit. I think Bodhi invented the idea, couls be wrong on that....

So no dunk or even soaking?
You leave it in the glass, right?

Easy as Fuck my friend.
Step 1: Open baggie
Step 2: Add some perlite
Step 3: Pour in water to wet perlite (dont drown it)
Step 4: Add cake with foil barrier
Step 5: Mist cake with water spray bottle
Step 6: Seal bag almost air tight
Step 7: Turn on light
Step 8: Check on cake at least once a day
Step 9: Wait for shroomz
Step 10: Harvest shroomz

This is absolutely the best way to get started. The yield won't be great but you get some shrooms, and can take prints and never pay for spores again. I don't even poke holes in the bag because it doesn't fit on the jar tightly. No reason to construct a chamber for one or a few cakes.
Then you get a pc and move to agar and grains.

Guys you where too late.
Finally i decided to birth 3 cakes (the other 2 where almost ready anyways) into a HC with perlite.

Now that i understand you don't have to dunk the single cake if u fruit from the jar, i will use this for the next batch if there is the chance.
Honestly i feel quite stressed, as i have no idea what i'm doing. But atleast i got 3 cakes going now which is chill.

You still have to dunk it. You're essentially using the jar and a bag around it as the fruiting chamber. Everything else is the same. Good luck with your first few cakes!

Id recommend adding more perlite.
And yeah, the jar and bag become the FC but no worries about that since u have a FC.

Doesn’t it help to keep the cakes as close together as possible too?

That sounds logical, as i see the strongest pins forming close to the wall (confined space).
So maybe the new cakes will go into the HC after all aswell. I will restock on perlite then, as i prefer this to coir water reservoir.
Just one thing bothers me now, is the mangroove foresty smell from my HC pre ventilation. It is similar to the smell towards the end of the assisted grow before that; i cleaned the HC with Bleach first and 70%IPA then, could it be bacteria? But also i'm working with Perlite for the first time. Or is it just the smell of wet perlite?
PS: Seeing some pins on 2 cakes already. I wish i could make a picture but my phone camera broke. So here is a picture from the web:
