Garlic as antibacterial
    #26525010 - 03/09/20 05:44 AM (3 years, 11 months ago)

So I've read that garlic is used to clean infections both inside and outside the body, it had antiviral and antibacterial properties. I just thought of it, would it work if you for example use garlic water in agar tek recipes and also in wild spore print syringes(of course not using the syringes directly on a substrate)?

People add all sorts of things to agar. I am sure the allicin in garlic would not hurt cubes. Nobody can tell you  if it will help things. A lot of times antibacterial adjuncts into agar is considered a crutch and with correct technique  should not be needed.
Adding garlic "water" to a wild spore print will not give you a clean print.
