6 syringes were purhased 30 1\2 pint jars innoculated with p.f. spores with p.f. tec method it has been 8 days and nothing is happening is this normal?

did u let them cool all the way before u innoculated?

I once waited a solid month before growth started to show. Sometimes it takes a while espcecially if you don't have the temps right.

give it a couple weeks before you start freaking out, they will be o.k. as long as you followed the tek and were clean you will be o.k. - - - relax and give nature a chance to work.

mine didnt grow for 2 weeks and they were syringed onto brf... patience!

mine didnt show any mycelium growth for almost a week either. I have learned patience is the key with mushroom cultivation! Peace, PF~

It takes about 2 weeks to show at most, after that, something is wrong.

Yep, patience really is the KEY here.. You have to be very patient in this sort of a hobby. I freaked out so bad the first time I thought for sure I did something wrong somwhere and I ended up with a great harvest. These boards really help too!! Just keep on checking those jars, should see some sort of white fuzz soon.

What temperture are you storing them at?If its low,then that will slow them down alot.
