Rain makes me happy

I don’t know why

Even better in the outdoors

It just soothes my mind

Anyone else like this ?

I used to regularly go for walks in the rain until I went camping on a rainy week. Despite my best efforts I and all my gear was thoroughly soaked. I came back with a gnarly infection that took weeks and antibiotics to clear up.

I still appreciate the sound of it hitting my house or tent though and I like looking around at the flooded landscape after it finally lets up.

I also like that the parks are pretty much deserted except for diehard exercisers and dog walkers.

Love standing on my porch during a heavy rain-storm and smoking a joint, just watching it come down. It's therapeutic.

lmao

I'm just getting old and crumbly. When I was a kid I used to always walk through the creek checking out rocks and doodads on rainy days.

I like misty rain. Or warm sunny day rains in the Spring. Winter rains are the worst thou, hard pass on those.

I just like the feeling of water running around me.

But yeah cold water is not as nice.

I love summer rains, but where I am it can rain for a month straight in the winter and that gets old sometimes.

I love how the rain makes air go really fresh. I'm an allergic so it helps my pollen allergy. So you are not definitely the only one loving the rain. :crazy2:

It rained where I am today, after a month of scorching sunshine, sunburnt filled days.
And... It was glorious.

I wish it would rain at least once every week. I love it.
