I know this isn't helpful, but what is the concern here? The circular growths on the pins? Or am I missing something?

Yea just wondering if it’s mold or not? Should I just throw it away or harvest?

My experience is limited. (I probably should have let someone who knows a lot more than me respond first). I personally don't know of any contaminants that result in growths like that on the fruiting bodies. I would guess it is more a symptom of your fruiting conditions (not enough FAE, ect... The mycelium itself looks healthy, and that is usually where contams would be seen. I wouldn't give up hope yet. Again, I'm no expert and I haven't seen this before. I'm sure someone will be able to diagnose your problem soon. Good luck

Not ruined but it isn’t gonna be much. Looks like too much humidity to me causing mycelium to grow on the mushrooms. Probably needs more FAE. What’s your setup like?

Just fruiting in a bag with the top open. I had to go out of town for two days and so it just sat. Probably not enough fae. Still good to harvest? Is that just mycelium growing on the mushroom?

Don't want to double post, but this seems like the best answer

bodhisatta said: Common on shrooms grown with too little fresh air and too high of humidity that keeps caps slimy wet.
Usually from suffocation bag fruiting chambers

Give em some more fae and make sure they're not drowning. You'll be good

I’ve grown in bags like this before. I cut 4 little holes on both sides and the edges of the bag. (4 holes total) two close to the substrate and two like halfway up the bag. Then I kept the top cracked open a little with a paper clip strategically placed in the middle.

I think it's possible that it could simply be genetics. The run I recently grew in both shoe-boxes and an FC had a similar appearance - I was aware of giving them FAE, so not sure if that was the issue... they turned out fine...

Jesus christ what is this..
Your substrate is dry, that's why it's tinted blue like that. Mist until glistening, let evaporate, repeat.

.. oh and I wouldn't recommend harvesting them yet, wait till they grow up and/or the veils are just breaking.

Ive seen those on tubs ive neglected. When i would have over 20 tubs going some were ignored and probably no fae and high humidity

Well what we have here is low FAE and low humidity both, it looks like. You can see aborts being reclaimed by mycelium and some other signs of low FAE, while you have the flattened blue mycelium showing the signs of needing a misting.

Heard the growth has to do with FAE.

It's genetics. I had a clone that would do that Everytime.
