libertarianism as a party or a political concept? why do think that?
this is a very good short article: https://fee.org/articles/the-political-compass-test/
if i had to label myself itd be something like socialist libertarian but that probably doesnt give the right impression at all.
Be careful with those compasses. That one only has two outcomes: Libertarian or Authoritarian
That test said I'm left libertarian, but that's only because I believe in personal freedoms. I don't believe in corporate freedoms nearly as much, and that's why I don't consider myself anywhere close to a libertarian.
Pretty sure if you valued corporate freedoms more than individual freedoms it would put you in the libertarian-right quadrant.
Lib-right = tea party Lib-left = anarchists

I'm definitely not libertarian though. I'm saying the compass was designed to make everyone think they are.

ha is that right? i didnt even take the test i thought the article was pretty good though, liked the graphics with famous people examples. there are a ton of different political spectrum models out there.
i think the most accurate model would be a disc or sphere/egg shape

But some of the other results are very bizarre. First of all, Milton Friedman magically moved. Now he’s very libertarian on social issues, but squishy on economics. Needless to say, that’s nonsense. But not nearly as nonsensical as Benito Mussolini being on the far right for economic policy. That’s crazy. He was a strident opponent of capitalism. Likewise, they have Hillary Clinton on the right side of the spectrum for economic policy. The person who did that must have been on some crazy drugs at the time. And I’m not a Trump fan, but I think it’s laughable to have him ranked as more authoritarian than Mugabe, Mao, and Castro.

Interestingly, my 'score' was right on top of Bernie's in your picture above.

Or maybe you are but the definition and true meaning of libertarianism has been botched by US politics.
Does this not fit in with your beliefs "Libertarians seek to maximize political freedom and autonomy, emphasizing freedom of choice, voluntary association and individual judgement."
I fall in the libertarian left quadrant as well

As stated above, "I believe in personal freedoms. I don't believe in corporate freedoms nearly as much" which is why I'm not libertarian.

"We can not get reelect-- um we can not win this reelection. Excuse me. We can ONLY reelect Donald Trump."
-Joe Biden yesterday
His handlers are really gonna start keeping him out of the public eye. CNN and the DNC even changed the debate to a townhall, so he'll likely be answering "Obama" to softball questions from a stacked audience instead of actually going up against Bernie on basically anything of value
