Birthed cakes to early
    #26522256 - 03/07/20 01:37 PM (3 years, 10 months ago)

Hey guys, I believe I birthed my cakes too early. I was using bod’s easy af tek and, as somewhat of an amateur, I thought my cakes to be fully colonized as the whole jar was covered with mycelium. After birthing them and putting them into fruiting conditions I’ve seen no pins over two weeks for one jar and one week for another.  After consulting a friend, I’ve learned that I most likely have birthed them too early. I’ve attached pictures here, another opinion on if they are fully colonized or not would be nice. The mycelium has clearly reached the entire jar but there is still visible brown substrate. I’m now wondering if I should put the tops back on the jars and put them into more optimal colonizing conditions or just wait it out?

Here is the link to bods easy af tek for reference

it's colonized but it needed consolidation, it's fine.

Should I continue to mist and fan them as well?
