I know Danny Goldberg believes he killed himself. He says all the conspiracies are bullshit.

I don't know what really happened but I think people want to hate Courtney Love on the basis that the far shittier musician out of that couple was the one who survived. And that Cobain was kind of her main claim to notability. The Yoko Ono phenomenon more or less.

It seems to me like killing Kurt would've been detrimental to her career. What exactly would she gain from it? Without Kurt, there's little to no limelight for her. Wouldn't she want him alive so she could continue to be relevant?

I don’t know, I can’t really remember them ever taking about it. I remember Grohl saying something like ‘if we’d not became famous this would have never happened’. I’m not real sure what their feelings are about it. Have you heard them talk about it?

Kurt was going to leave her which meant she wouldn’t get Nirvana fortune. I’m not sure if a will came into play.
You know, maybe I should watch Soaked In Bleach again because I’m having issues remembering stuff.

There was another documentary I watched (not the one you mentioned), I think it was on HBO maybe a few years back, and I seem to remember at least a few closely associated with the band and Kurt saying that fully believed he killed himself and that all the signs were there.

But she probably would have ended up with a bunch of his assets plus alimony from income he likely would have generated if he was alive, no? Not that she seems like the most rational person.

I'd become a recluse overnight. I don't like the general public very much. My wife sometimes thinks that I'm snobbish but she doesn't understand that it's not snobbery but wariness. I don't like mind games, I refuse to play. I'm too old for bullshit and have been since my late 20's. Money and reputation does not make people good people in my humble opinion, not that they can't be but it's no indicator at all. People who like me instantly because I have money, position and/or reputation are instantly aliens to me and people who think I should respect them for the same reasons equally so. All that said I'm endlessly polite, there's just an invisible barrier that keeps the deluded away.

Was it called Kurt & Courtney? Most of the people who knew Kurt say he wasn’t suicidal. Another thing is most of the suicidal aspects were shit Courtney leaked to the media to put spin on things. That docu spells out a lot of things not mentioned elsewhere.

She would have missed out on a whole lot more though. He was going to split with her and take her out of the will.
I just watched it again so I’m up to speed..

Nothing else has changed about me?
I'd be the one that seems like a stuck up dick cuz I avoid people and don't just walk around smiling. People who don't know me just assume I'm always pissed off.

Eminem became a full on recluse shortly after he exploded.
Before he reached massive superstardom (after the Marshall Mathers LP) he was a completely different person
Eminem here, he was an up & comer, but nowhere near his global stardom yet, he was a polar opposite from the guy he appears to be today. The guy was the goofiest, playful, least serious guy on the planet.
Now he is rarely seen in public (although he did make a shocking surprise recently at The Oscars and actually performed) and when you do see him he now looks like he's wound tighter than anyone in the world. I don't think he has smiled in public in literally 20 years.

To answer the original question, I would probably be much like I am now where I extend mutual courtesies and mutual disrespects. NOW, ask me again like 5 years into it and I’d most likely be duckin’ people.
