ok, first some background.new at this but learn very fast. lets start with my equip, mono tub,fan on a time delay, reptile fogger keeping the tub at 90% Humidity on a humid-stat10seconds on ,15 mins off, light on a timer 12/12, small heater on a temp control@ 75 F, mono tub also has a heating mat under neath.its a cool basement so every thing is in a grow tent just to maintain 70F or so degrees so the mat can keep up,first flush from a cake i spawned in one of those grain bags from Ancient, not impressed with the substrate buy hey i finally got it work.First flush was a succesfull one got about 20 very nice healthy shrooms B+.dunked one but left the other as a control, its been 5 days now and no new pinning, should i drop the temp, humidity?light cycle? cakes are stalled for some reson and they are in Optimal conditions while they grow so some advice would be very welcomed.

Humidity isn’t really important in this hobby. Most humidity gages are bunk anyway. You honestly don’t really need the fogger. You just want your cakes to glisten then evaporate, rinse and repeat. Sounds to me like they may be staying to wet. Post a pic so we can see your cakes and setup.

Looks like a decent set up. Where are the blocks at?

you don’t need all that extra stuff going. Looks like you may be keeping it to wet in there. Your mushrooms are nice and plump though. Just looks to wet IMO

dont misunderstand , my mushys are nice and plump because i have a optmail set up doe fruiting , my question was why is the secont flush taking so long to pin? no need to mist if its all auto matic to stay at 90 RH and the temp is at 75 now for the past week? impatience ? those two cakes produced 1/2 OZ dry not to bad IMO.

Did you dunk?
Also, misting is better than constant humidity, at least for pinning. You want evaporation, not non-stop moisture.

yes i did dunk them,ok, so yes i keep the humidty mist on 90RH 24/7 to keep moist, let me ask u this,Humidity is Humidity correct ? weither its gas form or droplets IE misting with a bottle

Like was said you don’t want constant moisture. You want time for evaporation because that is what triggers pinning. I recommend getting rid of the fogger and just using a fine mist bottle. Maybe give them a day to evaporate before you continue misting. It will take a while to get it down, but evaporation is key.

Humidity isn’t a gas or a droplet, but that’s not really the issue.
See, the Rh inside the mono doesn’t really matter for pinning. You just need high SURFACE humidity. Droplets on the surface are a good indication of high surface humidity.
Evaporation triggers pinning, so you want your surface to gradually dry up, then get misted and dry up again. Most experienced growers don’t mist at all until after first harvest. Personally, I either dunk OR start misting after flush #1.
But you don’t really have much to worry about here. Some cultures take a while to pin Your setup should work just fine. We’re just pointing out that you can do just as well with way less effort. To each their own...

You can get something that is basically autopilot w/o the fogger and humidity monitor.
All you need to do is use the modified monotub, which you already have, and spawn to coir. The humidity in the tub will stay at a good spot because the water evaporates from the substrate. You want water to be evaporating from the substrate. Because of the design of the monotub, the evaporation will happen slowly to the point that only rarely do you have to add water. It is truley set and forget. I typically don't mist a single time between spawning to bulk and first harvest.
As others have pointed out, it doesn't really matter how humid the air in the tub is. The substrate and substrate surface conditions are what really matters.

Found your problem. All the extra shit you added got in the way of the tek. Unmodified tubs and SFF shoeboxes work fine. Keeping humidity high slows evaporation, which is the pinning trigger you're chasing. The fan isn't helping. The fogger just breeds bacteria. Even the light timer isn't needed.
Focus on temperature and surface conditions.
