they literally put some puking thing on the package. I assume to prep you for what is inevitably coming
Lol I've had that before once or twice. There was a place around here where you could build your own 6 pack and I tried that one out. I didn't mind it but then again it's really hard for me to find a beer that I truly hate. I love beer (a little too much) and even the beers I don't care for I will always finish and enjoy even if I wouldn't order another one of those.

Hey guys I worked at******* for the last four years. When I finally got fired all they said was. "We don't like your sarcasm and "you dont like IPA's"
They would lie constantly about ABV in the can and changed the recipe ALL OF TIME. roobs still come in and love it.

I was the head cellarman at the time. Shortly after i was let go the head brewer quit cause their quality was no longer existent. People still eat it up cause they love the cans. The owner E*** does mad cock. (on the can) ( I know normal for important businessman ) Also a raging non-confrontational pussy who forgot how to brew and cannot even use his own 20bbl system

Its fuckin disgusting https://sierranevada.com/beer/pale-ale/
If i had a choice between an IPA and water at a bar, im choosing the water everytime.
You're weird. Do you drink bud light? Cuz that's basically water. When I went to monster jam, all they served was light beer. I was in hell... I'm at the most red neck sport event ever and my choices are bud light, Miller light and Michelob ultra.. what the fuck.
IPA stands for India Pale Ale, it's a light beer. Pale ale certainly has more character than a Pilsner, but it's still light. There's a whole range of beers out there that aren't light, many of which are also not bitter. Milk Stout, Amber, Black Lager, Octoberfest. Or there are light beers with flavors other than bitter (the predominant flavor in both pale ales and pilsners) saison, lambic, cream ale and so many other choices. I don't know why Americans so often want their beer to taste like either strong hop tea (IPA) or weak hop tea (Pilsners like Miller Light and Michelob Ultra)

You may be technically correct but when I say light beer, I'm talking about "American light beer" which is in no way (other than maybe technicalities and semantics) in any league with IPAs. "Light beer" (as in bud light, Miller light etc) literally tastes like you decided to pour a hot beer over a cup of ice and waited until the ice completely melted before drinking it. I also refuse to believe the ABV they claim because it doesn't matter how fast I drink them, I will never get a buzz. I've never had a problem getting buzzed off drinking IPAs at a normal rate. So yet another way they are completely different.
And why would Americans want IPAs? The predominate beers here have for so long been Budweiser, Miller, Coors etc and they all basically taste the same. It's like introducing steak to a country who has only ever had ground beef.

IPA's tend to be higher ABV because they were originally made to ship to India. The Steak VS Ground beef comparison makes sense, as someone who prefers lamb it confuses me that Americans only like beef. (or hops, grain tastes better than hops, and so does yeast)

If IPA's are "steaks", then whats the New York Cut? Whats the top-shelf Prime Cut IPA in your brutally honest opinion?

Not a big fan of IPA. Not really a fan of alcohol all that much actually. Cilantro is fucking awesome tho.

Can someone please explain the concept of an IPA and how it became a thing. I live in a hot temperate climat and although i love a good ale, including IPA, there's no way in hell that it's my beer choice in the Summer months. India is more humid and hotter that Australia. If i were over there i'd say fuck off with the IPA, give me a larger or else i'll just drink water. I just can't comprehend how an IPA could be associated with a country which it'd be god awful to consume within. It's too hot in India for IPA. Does that make sense to anyone else?

For most people, it's a horrible thing that's not worth thinking about and should eventually pass until such time when you start drinking normal beers again.
