Stroma on brf cakes: removing stroma resulted in pinning [PICS]

Hello. I'd like to share my very first grow and ask your experienced eyes for reassurance if they look healthy. 3 of the 4 first cakes started pinning pretty much the second day in the sgfc. However, one of them doesn't have any pins three days in the sgfc, which I understand is still early and normal, but it does have a large white overlay growth which seems like it may be a trich contamination. Also, another cake has some pins, as well as, some weird big white blobs and I have no idea what they are. Knots, stroma, contamination?
Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

update: all of the pins grew, but so did stroma. After the first flush 9 out of 11 cakes had successful fruits. Two cakes were completely filled with stroma. I then decided to remove the stroma, simply pulled it off, and placed the cakes back into sgfc. 4 days after that I see lots of tiny pins coming out of it.
If you have this problem on your cakes, my advice is use smell to determine if it's healthy or not, and if it smells mushroomy and you see no pins, pull the stroma off and let the cake continue to grow. It should successfully pin after that.

are they getting enough air? I don't know enough to do a proper diagnosis, but it's possible that they're reverting to myc due to lack of FAE

The weird white blobs started forming while still in jars. I've been misting and letting air in three times a day, so I would think they are doing fine air wise. It's my first time though, so I'm not sure. Also, I haven't noticed any weird smells on them.

The colonization was fine, these four were the fastest growing ones, the first jar reached 100% about 17days after inoculation. There were no weird colours or smells, the only thing that keeps confusing me are those white blobs. I have them on a couple of cakes. When I birthed them those blobs were pretty firm, I tried pressing it with a finger and I don't think it showed any bruising.
The blobs looked like this while in jars:

it also started pinning about 8days after it reached 100% on the opposite side where the blob was forming:

edit: so I nipped off a small piece of it to take a look at it under my 200x microscope, and it looked more like mycelium than trich from what I could tell. And now that spot is very dark blue, so I guess it's mycelium after all. Now I feel bad for hurting my precious.
pic pretty bad, this is coming from a 15dollar mini microscope:

Update: after two weeks all of the cakes had some level of these stroma things. I decided to experiment and I completely removed it from two of the cakes. It came off pretty easily, it had a mushroomy smell and had slight bruising. I placed those two cakes back into sgfc and one of them started pinning, and quite heavily. I see about 15-20 tiny pins coming out of it now (3-4 days after completely removing stroma), and it had zero pins/fruits while I was allowing stroma to grow.
So my advice for anyone who gets this on their cakes, just remove it and let the cake continue to grow. Some of it will grow back, but it will also allow pins to grow. If the cake is filled with stroma, there won't be any space for pins and they won't grow.
Cake with stroma removed (spent a week inside sgfc, no fruits or pins):
