Hey everyone. ive been getting some ok flushes but nothing as crazy as i see in your signatures or other places. I want to nail those full tote flushes. Im on WBS spaw (was pf before) and putting it in vermic/coir mix bulk sub. Also just started putting garbage bags in tote to prevent side pins. What are your little tricks to nailing those big flushes? Does manure bulk and plate genetics help for that? Im looking into those more now. Thanks and i appreciate all you guys have done to help. Comments on my threads and your own tek posts. <3

Genetics and surface conditions are probably 99% of it. Plus a pinset that doesn’t look super thick can turn into a canopy when the caps open up.
Also a good clone doesn’t hurt.

Surface conditions.
Making it level at spawning and maintaining moisture and airflow. Everything that contributes to the pinset beyond genes.

I still haven’t found a clone that flushes evenly enough that I can harvest once per flush. It’s always 40-60% torn veils and the rest are 24-36 hours behind.
Having a half-full dehydrator going 24/7 gets annoying. Plus, idk what I’m gonna do in the summer - the thing creates a lot of heat.

Conditions matter way more than genetics. Most MS cultures will do a canopy too in the hands of someone with skill and experience. The one special tip is practice

Huh, tbh I thought I had the FAE/humidity balance down. Or is there something else that’s related to surface conditions? Like, I can never get my pseudo casing to be the same thickness all around the tub - it’s like 0.3-0.8in deep in different parts of the tub. Can that be it?
Kinda glad to hear this because, other than the 2-day harvests, I’m really digging these clones. Very aggressive.
Aaanyway, guess it’s back to the drawing board...

Thanks man I was pretty annoyed cuz they stayed small after a nice pinset but it still put out like 300 so whatever. I like little shrooms better for personal consumption.
When you spawn the tub shake it back and forth and it’ll do 90% of the leveling for you.

Hmmmmm ive got monotubs going. Pulled a 500 wet first flush. But way too many side pins (using a garbage bag on the inside now so it shrinks with sub) i think if i had side pin stop it would have been a decent looking tote. I didnt case it (is this something that makes a huge difference) ive been thinking about giving it a try. Im trying to set up something of a decent size. Got some shit to lock down. Hahaha
