    #2651697 - 05/07/04 11:33 PM (17 years, 6 months ago)

S. 89 and H.R. 163 called the universal national service acct of 2003....."requiring that all young persons 18-26 in the united states, including women, to perform a perod of military service or a period of civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and home land security and for other purposes" ". It authorizes the President to establish both the number of people to be selected for military service, and the means of selection."

"Canada and College are not options. canada and the US have signed a "smart border Declaration which could be used to keep would be draft dodgers in. Signed by Canada's Minister of oreign affairs, john manley and US homeland security director gov. Tom Ridge, the declartion involves a 20 point plan which implements, amount other things a "pre clearance agreement" of people entering and departing each country. Reforms aimed at making the draft more quitable along gender and class lines also elimiates higer education as a shelter. Underclassmen could only posepone service until the end of their current semester. Seniors would have until the end of the academic year."

28 million has been added to the 2004 SSS (selective service system) budget to prepare for a military draft that could start as early as june 15 2005. SSS must report to bush on march 31, 2005 that the system which has lain dormant for decades is ready for activation.

"the pentegon has a campaign to fill 10,359 draft board positions and 11,070 appeals bnoard slots. military experts and infulential members of congress are suggesting that if rumsfeld's predictions of a "long, hard slog" in iraq and afghanistan and a permanent state of war on "terrorism" proves accurate that the US may have no choice to draft"

man if i was drafted id totally protect the iraqis we invaded and not shoot them, or get killed by the us because i understand what they are going through. we are ocupyers. never trade freedom for safety. but i dont think a draft will come. in this day and age i bet 80% of amrerica's young men wouldnt vote for bush and would dodge the draft. not because they dont love america but because they hate the people in charge

You probably know alot of kids who are pissed off at the government because they won't let them smoke pot and made them go to school.

Most kids these days are obedient tools of the govt.

They're both pro-gun, both love degrading women, flashing around dollar bills, hate gays, and pray to god after bombing-a-country/killing-a-thug.
