My last hunt for a little while... 1

Hit another gold mine today... The question is, how do I know when a wild mushroom is no good? Some of these seem a little water logged or mushy, if that makes sense. Some are really healthy but the darker ones I'm worried might be no good due to been full of water and a bit more mushy. Can anyone confirm if theyre safe to mix in with all the healthy ones? Thanks

my experience with cubensis is that they will turn black and to a powder easily when thoroughly dried and no good (rotten), while the good ones will have resistance and take effort to crumble to powder

I assumed "to biff" was some kind of Oz slang, so I googled it and found a list with definitions - where "biff" is said to mean "to hit", and "blotto" means drunk, so I was thinking only a drunk person would hit a mushroom rather than just throw it away.
I've always been fond of slang and local dialect.

I see haha. Here in New Zealand biff means throw, I didn't even realise it was slang i've been using it so long.
