Cobweb mould or mycelium?
    #26514585 - 03/03/20 01:08 PM (3 years, 10 months ago)

I have healthy myc growing but one bit seems quite thin and looks grey, got a little paranoid so I thought I'd ask what you guys think. Is this myc or cobweb mold?

It started off super white but since its grown out it's gone thinner. Growth is slow but steady, I've read that cobweb grows quite rapidly

I find that healthy myc getting started sorta looks like thread on a spool. Your pic seems ok to me as well, might just be slow getting going.

Looks healthy.  It isn't really grey, just thin and the darker color of the grain is what is giving it that grey appearance.

Like mentioned, other molds tend to be much faster than cube myc in spreading.  Watch the growth, make sure it keeps expanding steadily.
