Where to Follow Current Trends in Mycology Research
    #26512586 - 03/02/20 10:33 AM (3 years, 10 months ago)

For startups and computer science, there are sites like Hackernews which provide readers with the latest news and updates in the field.

Is there an equivalent website where new tools, research and discoveries in the field of Mycology and/or Microbiology are published?

Thanks for sharing! Looks more like a personal blog, but better than nothing. There must be some place, other than shroomery, where professionals in the field share and interact with one another online. Hmm!

There's a couple Facebook groups where stuff like this gets posted:

Latest Mycological Research and Taxonomy:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/181878295735803/

Advanced Mushroom Identification & Discussion:

I'll also add that I've setup some alerts for keywords in Google Scholar: https://scholar.google.com/

Looks like Google Scholar is crawling this one, at least based on my test using "source:Mycologia" in search. This plus SciHub is golden.
