Can anybody tell me what's up with these. Pics are of first and second flush, first was beautiful, second looks horrid, all fat and misshapen, and very wet looking?

I had this problem from soaking my sub after a flush.
I started only soaking the bottom half for like an hour and spraying the top down.

Interesting, although I didn't soak, I did try to rinse some of the spores off from the first flush and then recased with verm, which I suppose could have made the top a little boggy. Do you think the fruits are OK to use still, one has a whole in so didn't know if it was an infection of some sort.

Bod kinda changed my philosophy on flushes
I used to try to get 5-7 flushes per tub
Now I try to get 1 big one with max yields and move on to the next, trying to exhaust the sub as much as possible by the first, maybe 2nd flush

Yeah I go two flushes now unless I don’t need the tubs.
I let one go 7 and the first flush was just under an ounce, the last two were like 4 grams

OP, do you use agar? When you have a clone culture, and good surface conditions, you can get pretty much all of the biological efficiency out of your spawn. When I’m using a clone, I get around 2zips per tub (using 2qt of spawn) and get like a quarter oz on the second flush. Like everyone else has said, it’s better to try to get everything you can out of the first flush and then set the tub aside and check it every couple of days to see if anything else is growing.

The first flushes were very good so I guess I shouldnt expect to much from the subsequent ones ey, and these were from multispore, saying that another one has just done a good second but is a different strain, pot luck I suppose Cheers for the advice pal. 👍

Hi mate, yes I've just got into agar and have done some cloning which seems to be going well in the dishes and I'm looking forward to my next experiments on that front. Suppose my results will be much better regards balls out first and second flush. Cheers for the advice mate. 👍
