Tips for pressure cooking media bottles full of agar?

So I figure this could help others along with myself, so everyone feel free to jump in with a question or whatever. This is my first agar attempt. Here’s a few things I’ve read, and anyone more experiences please chime in. Let me know if I’m wrong about anything and shoot some tips if you’d like. Thanky thanky
1. Softer agar is better for hydrating spores (I used 10 Grams LME, 9 Grams Telephone Brand Agar for 500ml but mixed it good and poured it out until I had 400ml.) I goofed on that
2. After taking media bottle out of microwave to shake, make sure you loosen cap right away or you’ll create pressure in bottle.
3. Fill water to the level of the agar, this will create slower heating and slower cooling (I understood the reasoning behind this when reading it.)
4. Don’t have cap tight when in PC.
5. Let PC cool down on its own to prevent boil overs. I even brought my PC up to temp slower.
6. Don’t fill your media bottle all the way, can help prevent boil overs.
Question:
Usually when using a PC, one would wait till steam is coming out the top and wait ten minutes to release all the air and then put the jiggler on. Normally I’d leave my heat on high for this, but since the water is at agar level, wouldn’t one want to have a (slower boil) by lowering the heat?... but still waiting the ten minutes?

I start out at high, and then once steam starts coming out I gradually lower the heat just enough to maintain a steady stream of steam. By the time the 10 minutes is up my stove is down to medium. I don't know if it's really necessary, but if I leave it on high the whole 10 minutes it boils way too violently for my comfort.
also point #6 is absolutely essential. Malt extract foams up when boiled, if the media bottle is full it will boil over no matter how slowly it's heated or cooled. At a max, media bottles should be filled no more than 50%. This includes LC.
-------------------- Thank you for taking the time to read this message. Have a wonderful day.

I fill my 500ml bottles to 500ml and 250ml bottles to 250ml. Never get boil over. I also don't fill water up to the same level as agar. Maybe halfway up at the most. Just dont touch the PC for a couple hours after turning off and you should be fine. I always try to bring the heat up slow on my pressure cooker. I usually don't worry about bringing it down slow because after getting to pressure I only need heat setting 2 or 3 on the stove to maintain 15psi so it's already super low.

I prevent boil over by filling my PC a little less than half way on the media bottle, about 1/4 or bit more as there is more mass in the surafce area of water to cool down slower

I'd leave the flame on high for 10 min and then put the weight on, I'll lowering the flame just when I reach 15 PSI
