Spores germinating in syringe

I got a syring from cyclocybe and there was a small white piece were the spores have germinated. There is other spore clusters in there that are fine. They have told me to discard it and they're sending me out a new one. I've already inoculated jars with it though. Do you think it will be okay?

Well thats odd cause i just moved this thread: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26505743
The only issue i see is that the mycelium might not go thru the tiny syringe needle. Other than that, its not a bad thing

Mine is nowhere near as bad as that. It was like a string of myc, the rest of the syringe was just spore clusters.
That is weird you just moved a similar thread haha

Synchronicity in 2020 is increasing
If theres still spores inside the syringe, youre good to go. Just shake it up before u shoot up a jar.

Yeah there was plenty of other clusters in there. I shook them well and inoculated.
Just got me a bit worried because cylocybe said to discard the syringe and they're sending out another one

Definitely take the new one.
It is perplexing that it would germinate with no nutrients available. Maybes its bacterial. I dunno

She quoted
In extremely rare circumstances this can happen.
The water within the spore solution does not have any nutrients within it, so this happens when spores are feeding from the husks of other spores for nutrients and naturally begin to germinate.

So basically you got LC instead of spores... I’d just use it...

I've already inoculated with them. Like I said there was a little bit of myc and then the rest was spore clusters. She said to discard it as its illegal to have germinated spores and obviously she has to cover herself as a business owner.

I guess as long as you don't mention the vendor name, no one is implicated.

Right on hopefully it was actually mushroom spores that germinated and not some kind of contaminate .

Where did u get that quote from? Can spores really cannibalism themselves and germinate? That sounds crazy!
