Nice, i used to grow those ones. the only downside to them is small pods.
here is that kandahar afghan from yesterday. genuine afghan landrace originally imported from kandahar province. medium-large pods and very high latex yield.

How does one read & interpret that data?
What does "627 ± 70/100mg; n = 4 same" mean?
I know it's in regards to alkaloid content, but I don't know what "627 ± 70/100mg" translates into or what the "627" or the "70" indicates/represents.

average of 627 mg of morphine per 100 grams of dried plant material, i assume the ± is referring to the high and low ends.

My poppies are starting to get pale and unhealthy looking and they’ve stopped getting bigger. Looks like I’m not going to get any lasting to adulthood. These are a really weak species of plant. I have no idea how they haven’t gone extinct.

bruh they grow like weeds. if you can grow dandelions you can grow poppy. next time just put the seeds on loose soil in direct sun and they’ll grow just fine.

in regards to the data, i figured for communicability sake,
i would round the denominator down to a rough comparison within a known amount of plant matter extract utilized, (flaked, putty or whatver) within a sesh
I.E. orthodox data seems to suggest that a "pin" is a recommended amount to vaporize most of my research indicated that a "pin" is equal to roughly .1g which is equal to 100mg
as an edit i may put 100(mg)* in the earlier post because you can read it equally well imperially as the value within a given amount* as well. But the comparison is roughly equidistant for our needs, and equally readable as a value table for those interested in p.somniferum varietal alkaloid amounts.

have nearly 50 of these in one planter, got a wetness/ph meter in the soil of said planter. They def drink ALOT throughout the day!!
Have kept up foliar nitrogen feeding (1x day) and drip feed watering(~2gal) dispersed across the day according to the meter
the poppies seem to all be growing larger/more bulbus headsites. The pods of the the earliest flowering ones have almost tripled in size in under a week as well & have taken on a glaucus blue hue; same plant also is continuing to form more flowering sites.
im starting not to totally understand the logic of the recommended drought/tapering off of water as the plant matures.
I may take that advice at the VERY VERY end. However throughout the first sets of blooms keep up the watering/foliar feeds if you want more heads; just control the dosing of both.

I planted thousands of seeds. Not a single one survived. Worst plant ever.

i’m sure its the plant itself thats the problem and not the way you tried to grow it
