Condensation on outside edges of agar

I hate even asking this. But I feel like I'm at a dead end and I need to ask you guys for help with my relentless condensation issues on my agar plates.
Let me start off by saying that I have a 99% success rate with all agar work, until the last month...
I pour at 100 degrees, and let them cool over night. I keep a few old empty plates around to put 2 plates on the top of the stack to stop condensation. I have 0 condensation on the lids, it's only the outside walls of the plates and worst of all there are little drops around the outside edge of agar. And almost every plate contaminates when this happens. I've thrown out 75% of my plates(around 30 plates) due to this issue. The room I do my plates in is always around 73 degrees. And I would flip them upside down like everyone suggests. But the condensation happens before I can even get in there to flip them, by that time I have literally drops of water on the surface/outside edge of agar.
Anyone have any advice? I've searched and searched, and all condensation issues regarding agar plates is referring to the lid and not the edges.
I would appreciate any advice! Thanks guys!

Stop caring about it there's going to be some condensation.

I'm trying not to care, but its ruining most of my plates! Lol I know slight condensation is unavoidable 100%... but it drips down on the agar, then I have a ring of bacteria around the outside edges of my plates after a few days or a week. I never had the issue before and I'm doing everything the same.

Still, no matter what I do, I'm still getting condensation. Its NEVER on the lids. It's always on the edges and drips down to the agar. I started flipping my plates over, but it doesn't work because I have to flip them over to do transfers, which let's the condensation drip down to my agar...which almost always leads to contam. And the plates I poured last night looked great until I looked this morning and there are actual drops of water on the agar and all the plates are flipped over. I've went from having almost 100% success with agar to like a 80% failure rate due to condensation literally out of the blue. I've tried using different agar/water ratios. I've tried getting the room I pour in a little warmer to combat condensation with no luck. I've tried so many things and taken so much advice. I've practice poured plates over and over. I've actually poured close to 100 plates in the past 2 months. And most of them have went to the trash can. WHAT THE FUCK

Condensation is why i use SFD's and the same holes in a lid Set up as a grain jar. But I use these little shorty wide mouths As my dishes and I love them. They can breathe and not condensate.

something ive found that helps
If youre working in SAB get the room to about 78-80F or the box itself.
After you pour leave them be in stacks of 10
once you only see the top 1-3 plates with condensation left drop the room temp 2-4 degrees leave the plates alone for about 30 mins. drop the room another 2-4 degress after 15ms then turn off the hvac.
by the time youre ready to inoc the plates only the top two will have condensation and after you do your work the others wont develop condensation again. after inoc wrap and leave in box for an hour.
did these late at night before last. 20 plates only 2-3 still drying up. one on left and one on top right. most were dry and clear on inoc.

These littleguys are easy to make one at a time. No pouring involved. Just toss 1.17g PDA into a jar, add in 30mL of water, mix, microwave till it bubbles, take it out stir it, then put the normal lid set up on it, foil cover, then pc for 15mins and let it cool. Perfect every time.

Why not stop flipping your plates. Seems like a lot of movement and air disruption.

Condensation doesn't make bacteria. Bacteria makes bacteria. Ive had many dishes that were poured way too hot and were like a swimming pool inside, no bacteria. You're getting something else wrong.

I get that smart, but why are we flipping plates anyway? Did this become a thing while I was taking a break?

Flipping works great for me, makes every plate crystal clear. All it takes is putting a plate on something warm agar down and its going to condensate. Simple science dictates flipping will have the opposite effect. I find 25 hours is required for the agar to actually take the moisture back up rather than just re condensating on it. In fact my dishes all go lid down as soon as they get poured and wrapped. Obviously not recommended for those who leave them unwrapped. I also have abundant flat space and is heated from below which makes it like magic.

You are right. During the summer I get perfect plates. Absolutely no condensation. But I fet it on the edges in the winter time. And I also bought a better PC, I had been using an instapot and it worked great over the course of 8 months. The heating element doesn't get as hot at it once did(due to using it all day everyday for 8 months.) Resulting in agar and grains that would have periodic contamination issue.
