I need help id this. Found them growing in some wood completely new to this stuff. But just need to know if they are poisonous or not or just to see what they might be. Cut them this morning and put then in a paper bag. Don't really know what to do with them. Need answers asap

Set them in front of a fan if you don't have a dehydrator. Looks like you may have something there, but wait for a trusted identifier. Deadly galerina looks very similar to gyms. I'd hate to make that mistake!

They aren't false, as I said all of the ones in the first group are Gymnopilus luteoviridis OR another related psilocybin active Gymnopilus species, like Gymnopilus lepidotus. I don't believe they could be a non-psychoactive Gymnopilus, since I can see greenish tones on the small specimens. They do not resemble any kind of Galerina and are without a doubt Gymnopilus.

The photos of the second group are mostly too blurry for a proper ID.

He Probably Thought That He Was Going To Die Throughout His Entire Trip. Probably Shook Him Up A Bit.

Hope He Didn't Go To A Hospital & Make A Big Scene. If He Did, I Doubt He'd Tell Us.
