Look you could try. Its still really early in the season but if you like bush walking then go, you may get lucky and find something. Maybe some gyms even. Just be really careful as you will probably find the bad ones more so than subs or gyms.
Look at as many pictures of Ps Subearuginosa as you can but also Galerinas so you know what not to touch. Screenshot them so you have them on your phone as reference and make a proper ID on here if so.

nice work, keep growing those little micro doses.
small pan cyans have a sweet taste to em!

Don't spray them directly, just fine mist from high up and let it fall gently over the area but don't soak it too much.
I like your idea putting it in the pot. I used a slushie cup as a temp container and it's been fruiting but not enough FAE so they are only tiny. I've put another chunk of cow poo in a 3L container and mixed in coir to bulk it and hopefully it makes a decent mini mono.
lol a black garage bag works. so it my be about FAE and contams.

depending upon how much you pack into it, I've had to go 24hrs before.

I found my oven will go as low as 30*C, so around fan forced 50/60*C for 5 hours works a treat 👌🏻

Found these on the 14th. Naively threw away what I think were cyanescens seen here? Sorry all.
I went back to these spots today (MNC) but couldn't see any signs.

Always check over your finds, in the first pic there are three panaeolus species. I see Panaeolus Cyanescens, Panaeolus Antillarium, and I believe? Panaeolus Papilionaceus. It's easy once you get your eye in, nice cubes though!
Went back to a risky paddock today, I've heard two accounts of people getting caught by the farmer. And what do you know, after we pull out with a successful haul there's a bloody police car driving down towards where we were picking... It's crazy because my friend said she felt anxious as hell and was the one that wanted to leave. Always trust your gut feeling!

How many grams would be an average microdose? And just from the photos alone, can you tell if, let’s say, that one bigger mushroom would be a dose itself? I’ve yet to get scales as I’m new to this. This dung and the cyan that was in it is the first active I’ve found so not really prepared lol

Here's some pictures to go by. I'd start microdosing around 1g fresh in your case, will be hard to get a consistent dose without a scale though

1g fresh is approximately 0.1g dry weight, try it when you have no where to go and nothing to do to get an idea of how it will affect you.
when I do my microdosing regimen its with Psilocybe cubensis at 0.2g every 4th day, sometimes it creates a slight body load but isn't bad all, like a mild valium with enhanced color perception and positive mood.
Panaeolus cyanescens is about 3x stronger than cubensis so I would personally dose 0.5g-1.0g fresh of that particular species or .05- 0.1g dry weight. you will have to see what works for you, it's not meant for getting high, but the medicinal benefits like increased mood, decreased anxiety, better pain management, all kinds of good stuff.
edit: spelling corrections

G'day all. Have arrived yet again. The drive from Adelaide feels longer each season or I'm just getting too old for 1700km driving stints. Next time it'll be a 2 day split for sure. It's one thing to hear about the extent of the fire damage plastered over the news and another to see the aftermath first hand. The scale of destruction is just unreal!
I'm also amazed at the resilience of mother nature. New life is emerging everywhere and greenery coming through the ashes. I can imagine the recent heavy rains have helped in a big way.
It's great to see the mushroom season resume along the coastal fringes and I can confirm as of today that the mountains are waking up too.
Here's some pics from a stroll in the jungle. Hopefully many more species to come as I work my way south.

I'm unfamiliar with Papuana, do they fruit in colder temps like woodlovers? What an absolutely gorgeous mushroom!

They're only known to occur in PNG/Australia and fruit from summer through winter. Few hunters know about the species occurrence here. I believe Hewowana considers this species more potent than woodlovers.

Perfect specimens Junglefairy
Some more strangeness from the rainforest. Not entirely sure where to put these specimens. I initially thought Marasmius given the orange caps and white gills but the bruising puts that possibility to bed. Will see if they drop any spores. Perhaps they're sterile Ps.papuana.
