sui    Hi fiery!

That was 2015. I was awash in acid that summer. Gd fifty and all. That was fun. I don't have the tolerance to eat acid like I did that summer anymore.

What does that even mean? You did acid and were in my town at the time?

Was I not able to die because I found a lady, who laughed at my death?

All together I went on the most dangerous adventure possible.

And I might do it again

I was not on that bus. I did however play electric guitar on top of further at the Oregon country fair and got this thing from Zane.

That's pretty legendary. Wait so you were playing guitar on the original bus or the 2nd bus? I'm only confused because you say 2015?

Either way that's awesome.

I had it set in a silver pendant but the jeweler cheaper out and didn't do a solid job. I haven't gotten back there with it to yell at him to do over yet. I could have lost it cause I eventually noticed it was loose.

Meanwhile, on this hijacked thread about Kesey, I might add that I purposely chose Pleasant Hill to do my student teaching in '77 to get a chance to meet Kesey.  Best I could do was teach his kid Jed in 9th grade and sit behind Kesey's balding head at a student play.  I later learned from Stamets that Kesey was shy and introspective.

I've probably said this a million times here but to this day my favorite place I've ever been in person is the Jackson Hole/Yellowstone National Park/Grand Teton National Park region of Wyoming. It is incredible up there. It's so grand and majestic.

Sedona (AZ) and Santa Barbara (CA) were also really amazing.

Oh shit you've been to Jackson Hole?? that place is absolute magic.  Had a stand off with a deer there one night when I went to piss. People swear the white water rafting up there is the best in the nation too

gotta watch out for those rogue renegade deers bruh

they stay in the shadows and stalk would-be-human-urinators and then they pounce

But yeah Jackson Hole is freaking great. Magic is a good way to describe it. It just has a certain feel up there that's different. And awesome. And that backdrop of the Teton mountain range...sheesh. It's hard to top that. The lakes, rivers, waterfalls. The wildlife. I mean how many places in the lower 48 actually have grizzly bears and wolf packs? Not very many that's for sure. Two majestic national parks nearby. The outdoor life there is quite frankly unbeatable.

Only problem with Jackson Hole is it's soooooooo expensive. The millionaires and billionaires have priced out the regular people as they so often do.

A friend and I did a light dose of mushrooms when we were camping in the tetons up there. He was really freaked out about grizzly bears.

It's funny people get so freaked out about bears but they're really pretty docile for the most part.
