Chinchilla poop and coco coir as a sub?

So, I've often seen people using manure in their sub mix, well I have a chinchilla and they poop like crazy. I was about to clean and dump her poop in the compose when I thought that maybe it could be used in place of manure. anyone heard of this? Or at least rabbit poop, which is pretty similar.
How would I go about sterilizing?

So you would want to pasteurize it and maybe mix with some hay. I would say it could be best used dehydrated and blended into a powder. Then add it as an additive like horse poop.
I would probably go(shoebox) 2qrt coir 1 qrt verm 1/2 qrt chopped straw, 1/2 qrt chinchilla poop powder. Would be better to test on Cams or Tamps

I think it would work. Timothy hay is high in nitrogen so keep that in mind. Use High spawn ratios. You also want to field age it and let it become bone dry. Read up on processing dung.

Idk I've tasted both hpoo mushrooms and my own coir only mushrooms, and 100% could tell the difference.

I'm now starting to wonder if I like the taste of shit. Cause if they are fresh I actually like the way they taste. Like unsweetened almond butter and battery acid.

Odd, same culture from the same isolate? Or same variety at least? I've been growing for years on both and never noticed a difference. Same thing with brf grown cubes. And cubes grow on straw and compost. I've actually tried to get them to taste different lmao. They always just taste nasty and end up getting made into tea, lemonade or chocolates. I have noticed certain varieties taste stronger than others. You can smell it while they are drying. The stronger ones stink more and the taste shows up more in the tea or whatever I decide to make out of it.
Last night I made some very potent frozen cherry lemonades for my wife and I. Used about 7 grams TOC and 7 grams RW the mushrooms flavor was impossible to cover up. Tripped pretty damn good though.

Yuck lol. They are much easier for me to get down when fresh but that's just a texture thing. I don't feel like I'm eating a piece of crunchy moldy cardboard. I when I'm harvesting I always munch on tiny little pins those are easiest for me to get down sometimes I'll get a slight trip by accident.

I can second that mushrooms can taste different depending on their substrate

It can definitely make a difference in oyster mushrooms. Cubes I've tried them side by side on different substrates and if there was a difference it wasn't noticable. I'm not saying that rules anything out just that it wasn't noticeable at all for me.

7 a each yes. 14 grams total split between 2 people. This has always been our minimum dose regardless of cube variety. Shit can sometimes get weird lmao. My wife's choice though when I trip alone or with friends I dose like 2 grams to maybe an 8th. My wife and I just have a ritual of dosing high maybe once a year. She don't play.
