i get many abortions there are not a lot to cause a big roblem but i would prefer them to be mushrooms cake, 24.5-25.5 C, (74-78F) humidity: A lot (loads of condensation everywhere, but cake protected)

i just noticed, as with the previous 2 flashes, the shrooms close to the heater are bigger
Should i use a small fan? (like from a agp card)to spread the heat?
or should i use higher temperature?

Bloody hell, that pics massive, you should compress it with an image editor to around 30kb. Anyway... 24 Celcius is perfect for fruiting. Don't increase the heat. A degree or two higher wouldn't hurt but it's not necessary. As to the abortions, sometimes they can start growing again of their own accord. Everyone gets lots though. Just keep fanning fresh air in twice a day by waving a piece of card. Don't worry so much P.S. That's a growkit block, why go to all the trouble of the perlite etc?

I'm measuring the temperature with a digital thermometer, and it seems the more heat there is the better.
about 26
I have read about ideal conditions n FAQ section and at the beginning had 24-25 degrees. But when i went up a bit i got better results.
Sorry about the pic. i dont like bad pics.
setup is: 3 inches of water, so the water tank heater can be submerged, and perlite on top
the perlite is not enough to support the kit so i support it
i guess i can remove the perlite
no reason for that
right now i cant make my own cakes, that's why i prefer to buy kits
Thanks for replying!

Hi again, there's no problem about it being a kit, it was just an observation. Well if warmer works for you then so be it, but I really wouldn't go above 26 if you can help it.
On my first attempt of growing going back a few years, I did exactly the same as you. I used the same box as you but all i did was fill it with 1 inch of water, then placed an eggbox cover (plastic one off a 24 pack) into the water so half of it was submerged. Then I placed the kit block on top of the eggbox lid, covered the box with cling film and aired it twice a day. So it looked exactly the same as yours but no perlite. The temp were a constant 24-25oC (I selotaped a 99p thermometer to the inside of the box) and it produced well over 250g fresh of shrooms.
Best of luck!
