Bulk substrate bag has a hole in it

Someone sent me some premixed pasteurized manure that I kept in the freezer for my grain to fully spawn but I took the manure out last night to thaw and I kept it on the floor. I was just about to get my bin ready when I noticed a hole in my bag. Now I have a jar fully colonized and no substrate. What can I do quickly to remedy this problem? Re pasteurize? Buy some Black Kow or something? Then that would have to be pasturized too and mixed with coco coir and vermiculite right? Damn . Someone please helpppp

You are mixing up pasteurizing with sterilising. You can keep pasteurized stuff in open air for a short period without any problems. You should be able to open up that bag leave it on the side and spawn it the next day with no problems in theory.
Coir is the answer to all your questions abouts substrates if growing cubes, I haven't found anything thats better in yield of performance.

I guess I am just going to go with it then. Even though it was on the floor. Got my fingers crossed. Thanks!

If pasteurized properly its ready to go even if you sneeze on it..... Understand that pasteurizing is keeping all the beneficial bacteria that will fight off any of all the bad microorganisms u dont want. Sterilising kills everything.

In reference to what you said about the benign bacteria, is it a bad idea to freeze the substrate? Will that kill the beneficial bacteria?

It will be fine, thaw and mix like you would with the bag sans hole. I don’t know about the impacts of freezing on the bacterial content, but it happens in the wild frequently and still fungus grows fine.
