Psylocibe subaerginosa ID please?
    #26497924 - 02/22/20 02:29 AM (3 years, 11 months ago)

Very knew to this and hoping someone could help provide a positive ID.

I'm hoping that this is what was Psylocibe australiana before it was lumped in with P. subaeruginosa as that seems to match up with what I've seen online.

Haven't got a spore colour yet but they were found among some eucalypt bark and scattered through adjacent grass (Lake Macquarie area, NSW). The thing I'm most unsure about is that the stem (kind of an off-white colour) didn't bruise blue (it did bruise black/grey a bit though).

If anyone could give their opinion on these I'd very much appreciate it.

Cheers.

OK thanks. I thought they looked somewhat similar to the "australiana" ones I'd seen online.

It's a shame because there's loads of them in my front yard.

Cheers.

Definitely not Psilocybe of any sort,  the specimen is to old for me to identify to Genus much less to species level. However,  I can say it is not a psychoactive mushroom.
