Early harvest

Hi there
First post here after lots of lurking. Have to say, this is a fantastic resource, thank you to all the knowledgeable posters for teaching and sharing and helping out newbies like myself
My first ever grow appeared to go ok so far, but I need to leave home for a couple of days so today I elected to harvest a bit earlier than I would have liked to, on the basis that given the choice between being too early or too late, the former is generally preferred?
Anyway, this was a MS grow, so it's been a slow process and every mushroom in the tub is at slightly different stage of development (annoyingly, but I still love them). I ended up harvesting everything (floating block in monotub) except pins under about an inch long. So because there were so many small pins it was hard to use a knife without injuring them therefore I did twist and pull. Subsequently there's quite some coir on most of them. A couple of questions below, among many many many others
1) shrooms are in the dehydrator with coir on their bases. Is this ok and will it just brush off when dry? Or is it better to get them out and wash them.
2) I noticed some exposed grains after draining the monotub and I'm worried about contams now. Should I expect the worst and what's your experience of this?
Grains are oats, using bods PC prep tek. Bulk is plain coir. Ratio is 1:2. I used a top layer when spawning, circa 1/2 inch deep. Straight to fruiting conditions at 20 to 23 degrees. Occasionally misted using terrarium fogger with 0.1% h2o2 (I like the fogger for misting as it gives uniform coverage but not so sure on the h2o2. Plain monotub 43litres. Sub is about 3" deep.
Next time I'll be isolating a strain first for sure

1-should be fine unless your real picky on havin coir, if giving them away just suggest tea or nibbling down to the base. Coir aint gonna hurt em haha
2-should be fine long as your spawn was colonized and clean, if it wasnt contam was inevitable either way. i fruited with no casing and exposed grains
3-usually id say dont need peroxide but since youve thrown it in a water tank all it should have done is oxygenate the water and turn back into-water haha
4-post pics man! Cant use this most valuable resource if people cant see to help out. Sometimes youll get info you didnt even realize you needed haha. Plus from what i can tell most of us are into this going on a fetish levelxD hence the name mycoporn hahaha we like pictures

Thanks for your response, much appreciated Didn't even consider the peroxide would decompose in the tank, good point! Haha
I'm trying to attach a pic. I suspect, looking at them closer now and seeing some of the stipes were hollow, there is a verticillium or pseudomonas infection? 😠This has been both a success and failure and many things to do differently on grow 2. Like agar cleanup and isolation for a start!

Can we talk about the odd mushroom out in your picture? Around middle of tub at 6:00?

Do you mean the one with orange coloured open cap and skinnier stipe? There were a couple like that scattered about the tub. They matured earlier and were v small. Totally clueless as to what is going on, presumed just genetics.
Do you ever get stray species entering a tub? Can imagine the odds would be very low

Ah it's already in the dehydrator but if more come on flush 2 then I'll try cloning one! Agree they're quite aesthetically pleasing
