Did I finally find a Peruvian?
    #2649646 - 05/07/04 12:37 PM (14 years, 17 days ago)

Sorry for the shitty image quality, but my digicam is a little lacking..... the only thing that makes me think this may be a Peruvianus is the V notches, one of which I have circled in the picture....

DAMNIT!!! I saw several others at the store that were labeled as Setsonia Coryne but this one looked different =(. I didn't notice the V notches on the ones that were labeled as Stetsonia......
The Stetsonias do have the V notches as well?

stetsonias, cereus, pilosocereus and many others have V notches bud!
but you're on the right path. the cacti you look for have the areoles closer to each other and the spines are not that LONG and thick... the areole size is smaller too.
good luck on the seek!
