Rattle snake venom dosage 1

Hey guys
Roughly speaking how many milkings of say a diamond back rattle snake would make how many doses for protoplast experiments? Do you need a crazy lot or can you work with just a couple of milkings?
Also interested in whether it is viable to have fresh venom in a vial sent in the mail internationally so taking at least a few days and then stored in the fridge.
Would too much degrade?

There is, as far as I know, no evidence that rattle snake venom will work in that way. See the first post here for more information: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/25612171

I can't find the link or the thread... but the other day I was looking through some rattlesnake venom threads, and found a link to that scientific journal talking about hybridization of Cordyceps with snake venom. here's the relevant part;
"The snake venom is added to the agar medium in quantities that alter the growth but do not prove toxic to the strain in question. This range of snake venom is from 10 to 30mg per 300ml of agar medium. The venom is not heat stable, and must be added aseptically after sterilization of the medium."
Not sure how much venom a single snake can produce in one sitting, but sounds like a single milking should be good for at least a handful of tries.
Also not sure how fast the stuff degrades, but something tells me days at room temperature would be problematic.

This "might" give an idea of degradation
