12/12 of a 15 or 20 watt. flourescent light. WAL-MART has them in the lighting section. Its a plant/aquarium.

Do the growing mushrooms really need 12 hours of light per day? If the light isn't used by the mushroom to make necessary nutrients, but rather just to give the fun guys some upwards direction when they get growing -- then wouldn't only a couple of hours of light per day work?

Any comments?
