The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks 9/10. Holy fuck is this story tragic from every angle possible.
Oprah knocked this role out of the park as well.

Picture is small as shit but ya lol.
It was ok.
WAT
ok? smh
no snoochie boochies for u sir
It was a super good time, def a film for the fans. Unless you're someone into the View Askewniverse then I can see how one might form that opinion.
Lol I was a fan.
I watched it tripping and it just felt weird seeing how old everybody was. Jay looking like a crack head. Skinny silent bob. Just made me start to feel old and maybe thatโs why I felt the way I did about it.
ah that makes sense, i totally get that. All the cameos were awesome. Now I'm hoping for a sequel to Dogma.
tripping takes the fun out of films for me unless its a certain type, like a good psychological horror. Don't know about you but my suspension of disbelief goes out the window in a psychedelic state, even with just cannabis.

All on Netflix:
Horse Girl 7/10 (Allison Brie Movie)
Spinning Out 8/10 (Netflix Drama)
Versailles 10/10 (Amazing)
Outlander 11/10 (insanely good)
V Wars 7/10 : looking forward to a 2nd season. I like what they did with the vampire lore in this but the season ends right where it feels like it really starts to take off. Also Damon Salvatore.
Ragnarok 8/10 (Norwegian show, modern take on Norse Mythos)
Another Life (sci-fi) 7/10 cool sfx, kinda cheesy

I got a one night hotel room reservation on Sunday at the casino
They have a theater so I was wanting to catch a movie before I start drinking and giving them my money, but I have minimal interest in any of these movies they have showing
Birds of Prey Blumhouse's Fantasy Island Dolittle Sonic the Hedgehog The Call of the Wild The Invisible Man
Leaning towards Call of the Wild I guess. Anyone hear anything on The Invisible Man? I'm already marking Sonic the Hedgehog off the list. I don't think you could pay me to see that.

Haven't heard shit about really any of them tbh. I would probably go with Call of The Wild myself.

I binge watched all the DragonHeart movies recently when I found out there where actually more that just the first.
I remember the original from when I was a kid and what a big deal the 'realistic' CGI was. How amazing it was when the dragon interacted with the environment like the waterfall.
Watching it now it looks like crap. A lot of the start dealt with the slow dragon reveal meant to blow people away so it hasn't aged well. The plot was also fairly basic. Not terrible but kind of forgettable.
Most of direct to video/DVD movies that came have better writing imho, although the CGI dragon in the 2nd one really sucked. They also kept screwing with the 'DragonHeart Knight' rules. In the first movie the problem is the main baddie is basically invincible while the dragon is alive, but in the future ones they seem just as vulnerable and before. Also the dragons tend to do nothing, just fly in and burn the baddies already.

Hunters on Amazon. Terrible. 3\10. Painfully predictable and beyond stereotypical. The only reason this series exists is the names of the people involved.

Call of the Wild. The new Harrison Ford move and adaptation of the book.
Low marks. Bad. Like, idk, 2/10? 3/10 on its best day?
Every animal was CGI so there was no human connection for me at all. Felt like I was watching what may as well have been an animated Disney movie. Especially when the animals were all waaayyy too human like.
I only went to see it because I was killing time and it was what seemed like the best option among a seemingly poor set of options at this theater at the particular time.
And I guess I wasn't the only one who felt this way about Call of the Wild because it's bombing in epic fashion at the box office. It's expected to lose upwards of 50 million dollars.

Watched the Mandalorian last week.
Pretty cool, although a bit A-teamish at certain points
In the last episode there is a very funny conversation between two imperial guards thats classic Taika Waititi (he directs that episode)

I was kinda looking forward to this (even though I wasn't very high on Split) because I liked Unbreakable a lot, but I was disappointed.
3/10.
