Breakfast habits 1

-scoop a bowl of oatmeal -add milk -stir -let sit till congealed -MANGEZ!
Breakfast, simplified.
I like to add an egg and a piece of fruit but the above, works fine on its own.
What are your breakfast habits?

I usually have rice milk with a cereal of my choosing. I have a lot of different cereals and like to have a different one just about every day to mix it up.

I drink Soylent.
I'm too lazy in the morning to do anything complex. Actually I should pour out the powder the night before to make it even easier on myself. Just add water and shake...

I've recently been skipping breakfast and taking preworkout powder then working out on an empty stomach. Usually 5-10 miles on the elliptical, then freeweights.
One heaping scoop of this in some milk for a post workout meal, then a few hours later I eat this for lunch:
(Sprouted wheat toast, 2 jumbo eggs, half a hatfield ham steak, fruit)
Then for dinner it's usually fish or chicken with mushrooms and another veggie, usually a cup of diced sweet potatoes.
I still LOOOOVE food, I love the whole process from grocery shopping all the way up to the finished product, but it's helped me get healthy and lose weight by reclassing it as fuel rather than a reward. I still have my cheat days so I don't feel neglected.

Ever since I got criticized for thickening congealing basic emergency food with oatmeal
You cant have it runny, its gotta be CONGEALED.
With oatmeal.
In the cold.

Not just does oatmeal contain 14% protein, it keeps you regular.

I usually have some kind of hot food like pizza stuffer (like a calzone), stuffed hashbrown or PB&J sandwich. I used to eat a lot of cereal but the milk made my stomach upset (im i lactose intolerant?), so had to quit cereal.

Thats hard on the tummy so early on.
You can make oatmeal with water, juice or nut milk.

This to the umpthiest power.
Food is a fuel and construction material first and foremost.
I got fat eating things that please the mind but were unsuitable materials to fuel and maintain a healthy body with.

If calzones go dpown the hatch in early mornimng but milk is a problem, you likely have an issue with either lactose or ,milk protein. Is cheese problematic too (has the protein, not the lactose)

Im definitely a sugar addict. Dounuts, Danishes, Bear Claws, Muffins, strawberry milk, strawberry & banana milk, any juice or juice mixture. I just love the stuff. Cant have it everyday, but every few days, i definitely enjoy my favorite edible drug of choice. Variety is the Spice of Life and sugary treats have a wide range of variety.

Look into xylitol. 10 bucks a kilo, actually healthy for you, 1:1 sugar substitute.

It has a slight cooling effect in your mouth that actually is kinda cool if you let the crystals melt in your mouth but otherwise its AS sweet as sugar and the same kind of sweet.
You can't tell sugar and xylitol apart when used in a dish or beverage.
Its also cooking safe.

I never would have guessed that
I enjoy me some egg salad, mmmmm so good.
One of my favorite sandwiches is hardboiled eggs crumbled on a slice of bread covered in mayo, add pepper and a little mustard, then put another slice of bread with mayo. So danky.

Sometimes cereals (the kid kind, corn pops, sugar crisp, apple jacks) or the adult kind (puffed wheat, but I add a teaspoon of sugar to the bowl, corn flakes-sometimes sugar frosted ones, or I add a tsp of sugar to the bowl), cheerios-honey nut, or sometimes oatmeal (love me some oatmeal, I add sugar, butter, and milk though and also raisins, they called me the oatmeal kid when I was little, I ate a lot of all the time). I'll also make sausage, egg, salsa and cheese tortilla wraps, I use one to 3 eggs per wrap. I might start using those flavored torts, they look cool too. Sometimes just toast and over medium eggs. sometimes cheese and spinach omelettes and home made hollandaise. I almost always eat something. Sometimes a PBJ. 2-4 cups of coffee 5 days a week before noon, never after, and I put 1 tsp of sugar w/cream, not a lot.

I don't really do breakfast....
I only have enough $ for one meal a day, even when I could afford more I never really ate all that much early in the day or shortly after waking up.
But as far as the first things I usually eat in a day, fruit....Fruit is always the first thing I eat for the day, my day doesn't feel right if I don't have some fruit to eat first. Since the beginning of November I have been eating 2 to 4 oranges off my tree as my first food of the day. (that tree saves me like $20+ a week )
After all of the oranges on my tree have been consumed (usually by around April), I switch to mangoes for a short while until the melons I'm growing are ripe.
Through out the summer I'll eat a melon as my first meal of the day...I can eat an entire melon in one go lol, so delicious I can't get enough of them.
After my melons are done for the season I switch to pineapples & papaya for a short while until the Oranges on my tree are ripe again.
Along with fruit...I'll occasionally have a little something sweet like a cookie or a danish or muffin...Or some nuts of some sort....but fruit has been the first thing I eat for years now.

...honestly whatever food I see first. Sometimes it's chocolate, sometimes it's a full bag of cashews. Could be an apple or banana or yogurt or biscuits. Or stale bread you know, it worked just fine for one very long summer. Sometimes I crave a specific food or drink, but I tend to tell myself a lot that anything would make a good breakfast. And it does.

I haven't been eating breakfast right now, just kind of been stumbling out the door. Sometimes I grab coffee, sometimes I just wait a couple of hours to caffeinate, and then I'll eat something at lunch. It's not great, and it's definitely not sustainable but I've been really stressed out and exhausted lately and it literally takes all of my willpower and energy just to roll out of bed and show up to work on time.
During less stressful periods of life I go crazy for coconut skyr(Icelandic yogurt) though. It's got the highest amount of protein and lowest amount of sugar of any yogurt, and it's damn good.

I find that even a small breakfast helps a ton in the morning since your body has been fasting for 7-9 hours, depending on how long u have slept.

I prep my breakfast the evening before. If we have avocados I take those. If not I already put 3 eggs ready for cooking the next morning
Cut a piece of cheese
I always have a container of nuts at work and I just count those out. Specific amount is a leftover from my very strict diet days. That should be around 120Kcals
I have a 0,8 liter waterflask that I fill and empty. Offices dry you out man, gotta keep hydrating

Eggbeaters are my freaking savior.
Ridiculously low in calories, I can whip up a mound of like 5 large eggs for 125 calories or so. Makes a huge pile that is largely protein. Pair with wheat toast and some sugar free jam, you're stuffed for like 300 cal.
