Wow, cool! I guess I’m adding another two cakes to the dunk tonight, I already have six in water.

Here are the pics I promised to show how healthy fruitformation looks like

But to achieve this you need to achieve optimal fruiting conditions, and as I've said before the more you have to tamper with your substrates to keep them from going south the further your fruiting chamber is from having the ability to create those optimal conditions for you.
Just look at this shit and if this doesn't become a wake up call for everyone doubting what I'm trying to demonstrate then Idk what to tell you.. Just imagine having cakes like this inside a SGFC, not rolled in verm and not even misted and within days of full colonization they are pinning normally and healthy. Zero maintenence, why? Because the fruiting setup already creates and maintains as close to optimal fruiting conditions as you can expect.

How hard was it for me to create 'perfect' fruiting conditions with zero maintenence? I just spilled a tiny amount of tap water into a plastic box and put the cakes inside
Compare that to the hassle of constructing a SGFC...

Can't for the life in me understand how someone can ask another to "ignore" my posts when it comes to giving advice on how to fruit BRF cakes... Hope all new growers growing cakes get to talk to the right people offering to 'help'

Am I missing the fruit in your fruit formation?
I see some Knott's and pins, but I am missing how those are better than any other mushrooms. Also your not using a isolate or clone so there is no control.
I get what your saying Meteah but I think you missed the opportunity to prove your point.
I'm sure Elon Musk felt this way when he made the first Tesla but what ever. Cool pins bro.

I have that exact dehydrator, I haven't used it for shrooms yet but I have used it to make dried pears, you do indeed take off any of the shelves that you are not using. I don't remember mine having a large round plastic rubber thing though.

Wrong assumption once again, you're still 0.0 (zero point zero) on the wrongful assumption statistics and that's why I mostly don't take you seriously at all at this point.
I'm ALWAYS working with clones you know why? Because I experiment a lot instead of constantly talking out of my ass when it comes to growing mushrooms.
And if you can not see the vermless cakes being riddled with fruit formation then it's yet another confirmation about your level of knowledge about this hobby. But hey? You'll learn just keep reading and growing...
Here's for your information. Knots, pins = fruit formation. But then again maybe you can't even recognize them cause you don't know much about what you're talking about.

Meteah I tried to bury the hatchet. But clearly that was free pass for you to go on selling your goddamn plastic tote with coir.
All I'm staying is that you didn't show any example of fruit formation. Your posted pictures of knotts. But what do I know? I'm clearly not a trusted cultivator so.

Mateah, i’m typing this on my cell phone so I can’t respond in detail to your post, I’ll try to respond to you later when I get home or tomorrow.
OK, so I have eight cakes in water right now. I’m assuming it’s 24 hours, just like the original Dunk & roll, only this time without the roll? I did give the cakes a really nice rinse, they were covered and spores and other goop, and the vermiculite layer left after the flush started looking a little funky, plus some of the cakes were definitely bruised. So I rinsed them off really good, and I’m going to leave them in the water until tomorrow when I plant them back into the terrarium. Is there anything special I need to do with them before putting them back in?

Sounds correct to me. After dunking them the second time, I just put back in the SGFC

You'll do that when you stop making constant wrongful assumptions.

Not coir, I'm selling water this time. but the point is i could pee in a plastic box and still create superb microclimate and you STILL wouldn't know what fruit formation even means. First of all you don't even seem to know what hyphal knots even are. They are barely visible with the naked eye, but that which is present on the cakes I posted is very much visible and very much resembles tiny pins. The point is still the fact that you don't have the ability to see that the pics of the cakes i posted demonstrate that they are very happy in their early stage of FRUIT Formation even tho the cakes don't have verm layer, are totally neglected and I don't mist. Maybe have someone point them out for you or I'll send you zoomed in pics if you have that bad eyes that you don't recognize mushrooms growing. Or wait a day or two for updates.

Of course Im not surprised that you can't notice basic things in cultivation.

No, just dunk them overnight and place them back in the SGFC.
Edit: I just noticed that Chaos already answered your question about rolling in verm after a flush

Can we call a spade a spade? . Stop being a dickhead all the time. No one is going to tell you your growing is amazing because you act like a fucking tool.
Yes you can grow mushrooms, they are easy to grow, but no one on this form is gonna stroke your ego, so please stop insulting everyone, my self included. You have consistently said I do not know what I am talking about. And your are condensending in the best post you have done.
I really don't care if you grow a mountain of shrooms because your a dick head, and I welcome the ban stick.
Hey Mateah do you think your coir box can help with this tub? Maybe I should pee on it.

I'm sorry if that hurt your feeling that you didn't know what fruit formstion is (the thing growing from the cakes I posted without verm layer)
I'm sorry about many things you daily get wrong about mushroom cultivation, like not knowing that hyphal knots are not visible with the naked eye. I'm also sorry you didn't notice the tiny fruits growing from those cakes so here I made this zoomed in pic so you can hopefully see the fruit formation this time. I won't call you dick head or other names because like I said you're much more humble than me
Here is what fruit formation looks like btw:

And this is just a fraction of the fruit formation on those three cakes without verm
And you know what else? I'll never call for the ban hammer on anyone, I may be lots of things but I don't wish bad things to happen to people just because I'm butthurt that someone is exposing my limited knowledge. That's why you're always welcome to post in my threads and I wouldn't even call to mods to lock you out of my threads. I've always been helpful towards growers and if you've learned today what fruit formation is then I'm happy for you. Gl in the future mate but please don't get in the way of my communication with LSA cause unlike you he can work through my lesser qualities and see the greater picture that I'm actually here to help him with detailed explanations and eye opening facts that will make him into a better grower faster. And all you do is making wrongful assumptions about me and my intentions and then when you realize you're always wrong you want to call for mods to ban me from the forum? Thanks for showing your true colors at least. I'll never even put you on ignore.

Let's see if my reply can get me banned. (Shout out to azure)
Your a tool. You all of a sudden want to play the victim card. No one said your grows don't work, but you are constantly condensending about everyone else's point if view.
No one cares about your non Vermiculite cakes. So PLEASE POST MORE PICTURES on someone else's thread.
I have never called out the mods on youbuddy you did that to yourself.
Honestly I feel like you are a bully on the internet.
So please continue to tell everyone how they need to grow your way and learn from you. Honestly I'm starting to think you work for the Russian troll farm.
And your bracelet are telling hey everyone look at me.

Don't be so hard on yourself man...
And seems Woodrose really appreciates the help he's receiving from me. I'm not high jacking and trying to convert him but if I happen to show pics from another method it's still not to force him into doing thing my way it's so he can know how the microclimate should look on substrate surfaces since that's a huge part of learning. Please I don't want to get locked out of this thread and I don't want you to get banned either. I actually think I post informative explanations often with pics so it's even easier to understand for future noobs reading this thread. Lets keep it that way without all the insults shall we?

Don't worry about it man, I'm further away from perfect that even YOU can imagine lol. Anyway how cool is the fact that LSA grew a whole bunch of shrooms without even one God damn coir tub? Clearly proving that SGFC works even in the hands of total Novices

It pretty much turned into a grow log, and of course there's some bickering.
