Title is explanatory.
Found these growing near my house and they bruise up real blue.
Can someone ID them - are they deadly? magic? or useless?

They are not psychoactive (magic), Boletaceae is not a strong point for me so I don't have any other information to add

Could be Boletellus obscurecoccineus. Similar coloring, bruises blue, known to fruit in NSW. Can’t say for sure though. I’m not so great with capped, pored, stemmed mushrooms.

I can't see that one described as bruising.
I'm thinking these look close to Xerocomus sp., but cant say much about Australian boletes, to be honest.

Definitely not active. They could be early slippery jacks or Boletellus Obcsurecoccineus. Interesting patterning on the caps though.

Yeah. I saw there were a few search results suggesting blue bruising along with images, but you’re right. The original description says color is unchanging when bruised.

Well, the Neoboletus will eventually have orange-red pores in maturity, while OP's mushrooms seem to retain their bright yellow color.
The staining is interesting though, since it is almost more black than blue.
