Sea food
    #26490031 - 02/17/20 01:28 PM (3 years, 11 months ago)

Did you ever wake up and like food that you didn't like before ?

Most of my life I never liked sea food

One morning I woke and now I like it

What about you ? Will you eat anything from the water ?

Clams with herbs and stuff are pretty cool

What day did u finally realize u enjoyed sea food?

Ive enjoyed it since growing up on Hawaii, which has a ton of delicious seafood choices. Amazing suishi.

My friend and I went to a Chinese Buffet yesturday. He was hitting the crab legs hard! He loves those crabs. My favorite is Ahi (fresh Tuna) and Salmon.

Is it the taste? The texture? Or maybe something else?

I did an Atkins Diet ("very low carb")  for 3 months. After that I became a complete veggiesaurus.

I used to be kinda meh about vegetables but now I want at least a pound of them with my dinner.

Pound of vegetables = 1 serving

I learned how to crack crablegs when I lived in NOLA and MS and Fla for about 6 years. I LOOOOVE me some sea spiders! Do you crack and eat as you go, or do you crack peel, and save it all up to eat mouth fulls of it? I crack peel and save it, then eat it all at once.

Realized it about 2 years ago. I was spending some time on the ocean. All we had to eat was a bunch of different kinds of fresh seafood. It was pretty awesome.

Recently , now I seek it and love all of it. Never told anyone that I didnt like it , I didn't really know. Guess it was just when I was a kid. Over here we have a lot of perch I really enjoy fishing , when fishing right on lake Erie I'll catch and release.

North Michigan is a awesome spot to fish. Some really cool spots further out in Ontario too , salmon and stuff. We used to ice fish in ponds the water doesn't freeze anymore though.

Might need to take a trip to go fishing / camping this year. It will have to be on the Canadian side , spent more time doing it on the American side.

Indeed. I always attribute this to the Taste Bud Fairy.

What about you ?
*looks around all confused like*

Will you eat anything from the water ?
I draw the line at coral, bbq'd manta and mermaid eggs.

I love seafood

Had some whole red snapper yesterday. Bones and all. Honestly it's so much better whole (anything with the bone is better), but it's just a lot of work though. I also bought a $20 thing of lump crab from Costco yesterday too. Warm it a little bit in the oven (or in a pan), pour some garlic butter over it and then put it on some toast (I like rye), and it's delectable.

I'm a fan of a lot of different sea food but my go to favorites would be (in no particular order): scallops, chilean sea bass (my favorite fish on earth), marinated tuna steak, crab (king or dungeness), lobster, shrimp, salmon. Among others.

love seafood.  too bad its such a pain in the ass to get where I am now.  Miss the $5/lb cold water lobster on the coast.  $50 bux would feed a few of us.  Used to get fresh wild caught mussels too.  twice the size of anything you could find in the shops

As a kid my diet was as bland as possible. Lots of fast food. Started liking Thai food around 19, and branched out a lot after that. Now I eat pretty much everything, the only flavors I really don't like now are mustard and fresh olives for some reason

I like seafood a lot but don't get to eat it much. Lobster rolls are awesome, and I really like salmon, especially smoked but it's pricey.  I love the simpler sushi stuff where it's just the rice and a slice of fish on the top

When I was a kid they were the best thing ever

Blue , purple , green and white

I'm going to seek these now
