Hello I'm growing golden teachers for the first time and they are different colors. Should I be concerned?

I'd be more worried about humidity if I were you.

The off-colored ones look dry.

I've been keeping the lid and sides misted. I thought it was bad to mist the fruits?

When people say don't mist fruits, they mean don't blast your spray bottle at them. Spray above the tub, let the mist fall onto them (like it does during a rainstorm under trees).

I've read it in numerous places and the reasoning was it would cause them to abort. But I just misted them so hopefully they will be ok.

It will cause them to abort if the water doesn't evaporate quickly enough due to low FAE. You have the opposite problem, where moisture is evaporating much too quickly, so you need to mist.

They grow in fields where it storms like crazy. Too much standing water is an issue

Thank you so much to everyone who replied. I obviously have alot to learn. I'm very grateful for this community and the very fast responses.
I will be misting them from now on not just the walls and lid. And hopefully I didn't completely ruin this flush.

I've had shrooms that looked worse and turned out fine. Congrats on a successful first grow!
