Hi Friends,
how long should i cook a 3L rye bag in a 12psi pressure cooker?
also i would like to know how can i sterilize vermiculite and perlite? i have hydrogen peroxide, but i would like to have a safer way of sterilization
right now i have 4x 1600ml boxes, but i would like to have a mono tube. which size of box do i need for 3L of rye?
i have 3L pre sterilized rye 5kg perlite 5 kg vermiculite and 1kg calcium sulfate. if i pack the boxes, how much rye perlite vermiculite and calcium do i need to put in one 1600ml box? and how much ml of water?
Thanks

yeah thanks, on my pressure cooker is says 60 to 100pka and 200pka is the max pressure, i think that's why i typed 120 instead of 12psi.
do you got information or answers to my questions? i really want to know those things

What tek are you trying to follow?

i dont know how this tek is calt, but you pack the boxes and then place them in a plastic bag.
i have bought many times pre made growkits. but it it quite expensive 44euro for 55gr dry
so i checkt the smartshops sites and saw a growkit that you must make your self. i checkt what is in the growkit and bought the items on a different site much cheaper
here are the links of the growkit, the second link is the manual. can you please tell me how this tek is calt ? https://azarius.net/smartshop/magic-mushrooms/grow-kits/mushroom-grow-kit-master/

I would shoot for 3 hours maybe 3 and a half on those bags. You can test going down from there.
There's no need to sterilize vermiculite and perlite.
2-3 for a mono should be enough depending on size.
Not sure yor plan on the last one? By box are you talking about the mono?

Oh so you're really doing more of a shoe box than a mono. I meant 2-3 of your grain bags for a mono, but I see now that's not really what your doing.
Where were planning on using the perlite?

i have bought 4x boxes 1600ml.
but if i use a monotube it is easier for my to monitor and heat it. so that why i want a monotube instead of the 4x boxes i now have. a few days a ago i inoculated the rye bag. the bag is now 18.8 degree. so i must wait 3 weeks i think before i can pack the boxes or the monotube if that answer you question because i think you asked me when im planning to use the perlite. yeah i must first wait on the rye bag with the mycelium, before i can use the perlite. i never done this whole procces but what i have learn and understand is, that i must place the perlite at the bottom of a box, and then place rye and on top of that vermiculite. i saw a video on youtube gordotek mushroom. he used also gypsum but i cant find that where i live, so i came across calcium sulfate, i hope its the same. because he had black granule. Do you know if calcium sulfate is beneficial? also which additions you use?

Think you got a lot of misinformation. I would recommend you picking a tek on here like bods unmoded or a shoe box tek and follow it to the T! No need for perlite in a tub and I wouldn’t recommend mixing the rye with just Verm. Coco Coir & verm mixed, yes. But you can just do straight Coir. Good luck!

STOP!!!!!
You need to literally start over fresh. Read all TC teks here first before doing anything else. Your last post is foreshadowing major failstorms. Not being mean, you'll thank us later.
