Sterilizaing Jars with Substrate
    #26487859 - 02/16/20 02:59 AM (3 years, 11 months ago)

I was sterilizing the jars with the substrate using a pressure cooker.  When I opened the pc lid one jar was on its side soaked in water.  That jar I threw out.  Are the rest of the jars ok?  They have the usual jar lid with holes with a tin foil lid and remained up right. Thanks

Hard to tell without a pic, I’m sure they’re fine if the got the 90min at 15psi treatment.

Is it substrate you’re cooking or grain?

The jars that remained upright look perfect. No issues at all.

I'm sterilising substrate.

Should be fine, what’s your substrate mix and what are you planning to inoculate with?
