40's is fine, but 30's is pushing it.
Good thing that I've been lazy, and mine are still in the planters, because we are getting a freaking freeze in May this Friday!
Well, there goes all my hard work down the drain, my tomatoes, peppers etc

these things fill out a lot during the summer but three years now and still no flowers except from the other morning glories that die off every winter, anyone know why that could be?

I got a ton of different blooms this year, but I was super busy this summer, and I never took any pictures
I did happen to snap a pic of these gorgeous Scarlet O'Hara's though before the freeze took them out

And, who says that you can't grow morning glories indoors! This vine has since doubles in size, especially the leaves, since this picture was taken a week back.
I may get just bored enough this winter to try some more varieties indoors

My fiance grows them every year. She didn't know about the LSA content in the seeds until I told her though. We just went and collected them the other day. There's a few good trips worth.

be careful with those, unless you want a good chance of explosive diarrhea and intense ergot nerve burning.
I used to trip Morning glories back as a youngster, and all though they provided an out of this world experience, the nausea, horrible muscle cramping and burning, as well as a whole host of other awful side effects is why I stopped using those. There was also no way to know just how bad it all was going to be either, until it was too late.
I would say 99% of all my trips ended out with these horrible effects, and even the rare times when it was a somewhat pleasurable trip, those side effects were always lingering in the background to some degree.
If you look as to why lot's of these "legal" high plants are in fact legal, it's because no body in their right mind would even want to mess with them
Just thought I'd throw that out so you don't make a sickening mistake brother
Just grow out your glories for their intense beauty, you'll be better off

Well, I never did the morning glories but Hawaiian Baby woodrose were really nice. Peppermint seemed to bypass most of the nausea from it. Many natural psychedelics are vasoconstrictive, that's why they make people sick, but I don't think they're actually poison. The active chemical is Lysergic Acid Amide(LSA)

I tried them both, but I got the sickest from the woodrose to be quite honest.
Yes if you could just extract only the LSA, it would be awesome, but all that other crap I would call poisons for sure.
